Slitting line can do uncoiling, slitting and recoiling works, make coil steel to any needed width coil steel. It mainly includes coil car, uncoiled, coil guide, slitting machine, scrap winder, tension unit, recoiled and coil car, hydraulic system, Etc. It mainly used in coil or hot rolling carbon steel, silicon steel and all the other kinds of metal materials with surface spreading.
This line can be adjusted to do recoiling or dividing work to meet customer’s demand.
Coil slitting, is a process by which wide coils of metal are fed lengthwise through a slitter and cut into narrower coils. As the coils runs through the slitter, sharp blades make the cuts. These blades can be moved to make sheet metal strips of different widths.
- Coil thickness from 0.4 up to 5 mm
- Coil width up to 1550 mm
- Coil Weight up to 25 tons
